I need to learn Spanish, Latin American style, but I don’t like the Rosetta Stone courses. I spent nearly $400 on their Arabic I & II course and it was BS, and I know they’re all the same format. The first couple build nicely on previous section, but then they start throwing in new words (pictures) without any context or further example to figure out what they meant. So I’m wondering if anyone can suggest another course or method of learning. I have the Spanish version of HBO, but the closed captions are also Spanish, so rule that out.
