Hello, I am in a third year Spanish course in high school and I have developed a keen interest and greater appreciation for the language as I begin understand more and more of it.

As part of a project separate form my schoolwork, I’ve been looking for a way to see how the language is used in the real world. Mostly, I desire to become a little more cultured in my understanding of the world and language (and also to have a leg up on my classmates.)

I was wondering if any of the Yahoo! answers community can lead me to a website, preferably one of a news media outlet or magazine (think Time, BBC, Chicago Tribune etc. but in Spanish) where I can get some practice in by trying to read some of the opinion or science/technology articles (just because these 2 subjects interest me.)

It would also be helpful if I had a means of translating these articles back into English just to see how I was doing.
